JOURNEY reportedly stopped the show after just two songs, at which point keyboardist Jonathan Cain addressed the crowd after all the other bandmembers left the stage.
"We're gong to see what happens as this progresses," Cain said. "It's an unfortunate situation. We're very sorry. We're hoping it's only a delay, but please — I'm sorry. Don't worry. Have your prayers ready. Have your prayers ready for Deen Castronovo, everybody. Thank you."
Around 10 minutes later, JOURNEY guitarist Neal Schon returned to the stage and said that Castronovo had been taken to the hospital. The show then continued, with Castronovo's drum tech, Steve Toomey, sitting behind the kit.
"Give a big hand for Steve Toomey," Schon said. "We love you all. We're very sorry for the inconvenience."
